Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 60th birthday - 29/08/08
This autumn, Rhydian will be joining a long list of stars helping
to celebrate Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 60th birthday at Hyde park on the 14th September.
The event is hosted by John
Barrowman, who will introduce Rhydian as well as the likes of Idina Menzel, Duncan James, Lee Mead, Joss Stone and Hayley
Westenra.
They will be backed by a 70-piece BBC Concert Orchestra and a 100 voice chorus as they perform songs from
some of Lloyd Webber’s best loved musicals like Joseph, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats, Phantom of the Opera and
many more.
The whole affair will be topped off with a stunning fireworks finale and will be broadcast on Radio 2 later
in the year.

Hello from America! - 28/07/08 My first meal in L.A was spent catching up with some friends
–and last night I went for drinks with some of S Club 7 who now live in California, we had a great laugh. I'm recording
3 songs out here and then doing a photo shoot for my album cover. It's all extremely exciting and I feel very fortunate to
be doing it all. By the way, Beverly Hills is exactly how it appears in films. Its exciting and lively – I even went
to see where Simon lives. It looks more like a hotel! Incredible. Ill keep you up to date on how things are going in the studio.
All my love Rhydian x

Simon Cowell:
"You know this show can produce stars,
and I think that’s what it’s all about, and I have to say, if we are going to award the prize to the person who
has been consistently, actually brilliant throughout, you have to give it to you Rhydian."
